Is therapy for me?

If you are feeling overwhelmed, depressed, anxious, or lost and are having a difficult time expressing your thoughts and feelings to family or friends for fear of being judged, misunderstood, or abandoned. Or if you are experiencing difficulty identifying how or what you feel. Talking to a licensed therapist could be helpful to support the management of some of these feelings and provide tools and skills to create a shift in perspective. If you are a couple struggling with communication, trust, and conflict, therapy is a great way to help you discuss the issues, learn tools, and get back on track.

Would I be a good fit for you in therapy?

I offer all prospective clients a free 15 minute phone or video consultation in order to assess this precise question. In our free consultation, I get a brief understanding of your reason for seeking services, explain how I work, answer any questions you may have, and quickly evaluate whether I think I can help. Then we discover collaboratively, whether setting an appointment will work for both of us. Choosing a therapist can be difficult, and I like to provide an opportunity for you to get a sense of me and how I work before you decide. Once we agree, we then schedule a session and work to address your concerns and find your healing. Should we determine that we are not a good fit, I offer you alternative referrals to providers who may be better suited. This way I am still able to be of some help!

Where are therapy sessions conducted?

Currently, therapy sessions are being conducted in person at my office in Temecula located at 27576 Commerce Center Drive Suite #204 Temecula, CA 92590. I also continue to offer Telehealth to clients who wish to participate in HIPAA compliant video sessions on a secure platform with me.

How long are therapy sessions?

Individual therapy sessions are scheduled for a clinical hour which is 50 mins. Couples sessions are scheduled for 60 mins.

How often should I attend therapy sessions?

Research supports the fact that Clinical outcomes are most successful when clients attend regularly and consistently. As a result, sessions are typically scheduled weekly. As treatment goals are met, session frequency may change, however the client and therapist collaboratively evaluate the need of frequency together and base modifications on client’s clinical outcomes.

How much do sessions cost?

60 Minute Assessment Session $225

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, I accept Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP) for individual therapy services only. Couples therapy is not covered by IEHP. Couple therapy clients pay out of pocket cost for service.

Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify if and how your plan will compensate you for psychotherapy services. If so, I do provide super-bills.

Is there a cancellation policy?

Yes. I require 48 hours notice for cancelled sessions. In the event that less than 48 hours notice is provided, clients will be charged the full fee for their session unless they are able to reschedule for an agreed upon date and time in the same week of their scheduled session.
